Hein is a high-performance rugby leader, educator, and mentor with more than two decades of experience developing athletes, coaches and organisations across South Africa and internationally. Holding an MSc in Sporting Directorship from Salford University Business School (UK), Hein has served as a Director of Rugby, Head Coach, High-Performance Consultant, and educator in environments ranging from school and club rugby to national and international programmes.

His coaching journey includes leadership roles with Hamilton Sea Point RFC, Stellenbosch Academy of Sport, Rugby Nederland, the Pumas, Western Province and South African Schools Rugby. Throughout his career, he has been driven by a passion for helping people realise their full potential while building sustainable high-performance cultures.

As a mentor, Hein combines practical leadership experience with a strong belief in accountability, resilience, continuous learning and servant leadership. He is passionate about guiding individuals to navigate challenges, develop confidence, lead with purpose and achieve lasting success both on and off the field.
